At 1650 m above sea level, the clocks tick to a different rhythm, more attentive, in time with nature itself. And you are in the midst of it all, since our simple hotel lies right there on the “Alm”, in peaceful Tauplitzalm Village.

Hotel Berghof provides ideal lodgings for uncomplicated people for whom the location is more important than frills. 360° nature and you are right there in the heart of the Tauplitzalm skiing and hiking paradise. Here with us, you will be staying next to the pistes, cross-country ski trails, as well as the winter and summer hiking trails.

Our newly renovated, simple rooms with shower, WC, telephone and TV, along with a restaurant, sauna, children’s playroom, house bar and inviting sun terrace serve as the base for all your activities on the pistes, cross-country ski trails and mountains.

Snow you can count on and right next to the pistes.

Right in the middle of the biggest single ski area and arguably the best freeride terrain in all of Styria. You will also find invigorating cross-country ski trails, beautiful winter hiking paths and traditional ski huts here with us. You will feel the very first indications of freedom even as you arrive, floating on the Tauplitz quad chairlift virtually right up to the front door of our Hotel Berghof. The lifts are happy to carry everyone, big and small, even dogs and prams. Guests preferring not to leave their vehicle down in the valley can drive up via the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße, park at the Tauplitzalm car park, then take advantage of the Skidoo shuttle.

Ski schools and ski rental businesses are located right here in the ski area.
