Stand-Up Paddling

SUP fans are welcome here! The Steirersee is the biggest and, in the opinion of many, the most beautiful of the 6 mountain lakes on the Tauplitzalm. We have boards and paddles available for you to borrow at Hotel Berghof. Use is at your own risk. Please bring along any additional equipment you might need, such as a neoprene swimsuit.

Please be aware: You need to be in good condition for this kind of adventure. With an SUP rucksack on your back, you will be able to reach the Steirersee in roughly 30 minutes via a gentle downhill pathway (dropping roughly 70 vertical meters) – the walk back to the hotel takes a little longer, naturally, approximately 40 minutes due to the slight climb.
